In November last year SCS partnered with Peake Logistics, a proven transport provider operating in Hamilton to help them enter the Auckland Market and to provide SCS with a 10 / 4 service to our Auckland customers that will allow for faster deliveries within the Auckland Metro region. The 10 / 4 service is:

• If you order before 10 am your order will be delivered by 4pm that day
• If you order before 4pm your order will be delivered by 10am the next morning.
• Boundaries: Albany in the north, Henderson in the west, Botany/East Tamaki in the east and Manukau in the south

The service is using a cloud based TMS that allows us to track goods in a live environment and provide real time POD information from the drivers, including photos, signatures and other commentary, through the smart phone delivery app .

So far, we have successfully rolled out the service with one of our customers who are now experiencing quicker deliveries, higher customer satisfaction and less noise around time sensitive deliveries. We have seen the volumes on the 10 / 4 service slowly increase over the last 5 months and are preparing to roll out to a second customer in the next month or so.

This service is a game changer in the Auckland Same Day delivery market, allowing customers to distribute quickly and efficiently around the metropolitan Auckland region, Peake have 2 small sized trucks that they have put on to cater for the service with 2 friendly drivers that are delivering consignments with a bucket load of enthusiasm and positivity!
