Recognise and Reward


4 days to go! We’re nuts out – 24/7 and by large the team are performing brilliantly despite a very late run this year.

I do want to make a big shout out to Courier Post, they are maintaining excellent service levels to the SI despite the disruption, last I checked, with most services they are still hitting delivery targets! The other bit of great news is that I am told that the pricing is not looking to increase – this is extraordinary considering all of the bulk forwarders have increased pricing by 15-20% (our partners have been at the lower end i.e. 15%). I am aware some other courier companies have increased their rates and there is one I know has hiked up their pricing 12%. So a brilliant effort by CP.

The other thing I wanted to share quickly was this email from Gary, one of our new clients referred to us by Ian from Nilfisk (thanks Ian – Nilfisk product rocks btw!!!).

Hi Brad and Kim

I hope your week is going well.

I can’t wait until we get to the end of the week as I am sure you do as well.  Been frenetic, and we know next year will only be better.  The customer service and warehouse teams have been amazing in not only dealing with last minute requests/confirmations of orders/changes.  The standard of how they have put the various packs together is nothing less than we would have done ourselves and that is high praise.  The feedback from our clients has been very positive so a big thanks for everything they have done.

Not sure if you saw the article on page two of the business section of this morning’s Herald about our business.  If you didn’t then below is the link to the article.  As you will see, there is mention of the contribution that SCS makes to our business.  You do need to get the newspaper article as it has a photo of the team putting the Spark packs together, they used the attached photo which Jess organised.
